Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of PosturaScreen. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

PosturaScreen is a software tool that estimates posture metrics from photographs and generates reports. It is intended for screening, education, and progress tracking by practitioners.

2. Not medical advice / not a diagnostic device

PosturaScreen is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis. Outputs are screening estimates and must be interpreted by a qualified professional. Do not rely on PosturaScreen as a substitute for clinical judgement or professional medical advice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Your responsibilities & client consent

You are responsible for obtaining consent from any individual whose photos you capture or upload, and for using PosturaScreen in compliance with all laws and professional standards that apply to you. You must not upload content you don't have the right to use.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Don't upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Don't use the service to make medical claims or diagnoses.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and photos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you.

7. Intellectual property

PosturaScreen and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by us. These Terms don't grant you any rights to them except as needed to use the service.

8. Plans & billing

During beta the service is provided free. Paid plans, when introduced, will be described at sign-up and billed as stated. We'll provide notice before charging existing users.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any clinical decision made using the service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified; continued use means acceptance.
